Orthodontic specialists limit their practice to orthodontics and den to facial orthopedics!
By completing an advanced education program following dental school, they have learned the special skills require d to manage tooth movement and guide facial development.

Advanced education programs in the orthodontics must be a minimum of two or more years of full-time formal training in a program sponsored by an institution properly chartered and licensed to operate and offer instruction leading to degrees, diplomas or certificates with recognized educational validity.

Orthodontics is the oldest of the dental specialties and celebrated its 100-year anniversary in the year 2000!
